  • Conference schedule: https://wolfcon2021.sched.com/
  • You are invited to be in a WOLFcon video

We are putting together a short video that we will share at the end of WOLFcon this year. Since we can’t all be together in person, we thought a video would be a nice way to see some of our community members around the world share greetings and thank you messages to mark the end of the conference.

If you would like to participate, you will need to upload your video file by May 19th, 2021 to be included. Be sure to use one of the following phrases or something similar in a short thank you message that will be combined with messages from other members of the Open Library Foundation. If your mother tongue is not English, please feel free send greetings in your native tongue.

“Thank you for attending WOLFcon 2021!”

    “See you next year!”

“I look forward to seeing everyone at WOLFcon 2022.”

“Hope to see everyone in person at WOLFcon 2022!”

Please note that files should be less than 5 GB and no more than 15 seconds in length.

For instructions on how to submit a video, click here.

Budget updatePaula Sullenger

Last week Scott Anderson (OLF Treasurer) notified OLF of a potential funding shortage - turned out to be a mis-communication. Looks like we'll be in a position to start FY22 on good footing.

Paula is settling in with Accounting systems/approvals/etc so that she can manage payments, collection of funds. Turning out to be three times MORE FUN than Paula had anticipated (smile)

MoU and personnel commitmentsBoaz Boaz will be following up with institutions on their personnel commitments per MoUs where they may have been unclear. Also will be asking for them to all be signed.
Updates from sub-groupsTeam

Resource subgroups:

  • Appeal to current Members (Paula, Dracine, Kirstin, Mike) - ready to send letter to members for contributions to bridge current gap
  • Identify grant opportunities (Tom, Ian, Rachel) - Document outlining thoughts; Next Steps are outined in the "Mechanics" section of the document.
  • Grow the membership (Harry, Boaz, Simeon, Marko)- now meeting bi-weekly. Discussing the target audience (first one - libraries running FOLIO who aren't yet active in the community, or institutions that contributed to the pointing exercise for Kiwi).
