When the bib record is being updated in mod-inventory-storage, the

QUESTION TO DOUBLE CHECK with PO: Does the $9 subfield is populated for all imported (and edited via quick marc) bibs. If so the mod-entities-links should be requested only, if there is a MARC field with $9 subfield.

If the Is same as existing $0 value

If $9 is populated in the MARC record that is being imported and there is existing MARC record in SRS that will be updated, the source-record-storage should request mod-entities-links to get the fields that should be updated (linked_sub_fields) and authority_id. All subfields of fields except the linked fields should be retained.

If process cannot find a $0 that is tied to a $9 then the bib field is no longer linked. Bib field is no longer linked and all values are uncontrolled. Bib field becomes a single text box. 

If $9 is populated in the MARC record that is being imported and there is existing MARC record in SRS that will be updated.
