 Product Council Update

New SIG lead by University of Colorado Boulder on Accessibility and Usability Testing. It will be a working group of ARL. Other institutions are getting involved. If anyone is interested in joining, Debbie Weiss is the contact.

Folio Forum UpdateThere were 100 registrations for the FOLIO Codex forum that took place on 8/16/2017. There is a desire to make the forums more interactive. This past time Peter Murray moderated the forum. Many more planned topics are coming. The next forum is on GOKB.
Linked Data Working Group startupPeter gave an update on the Linked Data Working Group. The group will use a mailing list and a tag on the Discuss site to communicate. Peter referenced a site in Europe that is making heavy use of linked data in an ERM system, that contributed to the discuss forum.
Codex data objects and metadata model changesSome changes had been made to the Codex Data Objects: Addition of a version field that could be used for edition statements, but is agnostic ; series statement field ; There is a proposal to include Call Numbers in Location Object in a field called "Parking" due to the structure of the Parking field ; Vince understands that there is functionality around those call numbers and their organization that the "Parking" element must support ; Multi-entity items such as an analyzed series or a bound-with situation. The data coming into FOLIO will be a single item/single holding attached to multiple bibs. They may gather more use cases to help support the development for these situations. Kathryn is updating her spreadsheet and will send links to the group for her and Vince's documents.
