Next steps from last meeting:
- Use the Document as a outline to flesh out an epic for development?
- What can be reused in FOLIO for CDL? - The rules and policy model
- Define more Use Cases in regard to FOLIO
- What may consortial cdl look like? (with the pandemic in mind)
- How about CDL in MARC - have someone come to this group to talk about this
FOLIO has the opportunity to become the first ILS to implement a CDL functionality with the standardization in mind
Thoughts on Reshare and CDL and Consortia and CDL

Who in the FOLIO project can we speak to? - what are the groups/persons we should have in mind going forward?
we need someone from MM for next steps
Also flesh out workflows
rolling dependencies - which component is everything depending on in FOLIO? (probably inventory)
Should we ask for time on MM to present our process? - to recruit participants and get expertise in MM for the CDL WG
- descision making on storage and workflows
Descision: having CDL in FOLIO or having an external System with CDL functionality
Mark Canney is wondering if we should have a representative of ReShare in this group - there is a SME group in ReShare a future crossmeeting could be good
Andrea / Duke could see CDL being used locally (in courses, local patrons first, ...) and next would be consortia and general ILL
Goal for this group: figuring out the general componants for CDL for any System but especially with FOLIO
Jana will reach out to AI and MM
Use-cases/Topics to keep in mind: distance education
a close FOLIO embedding would be very usefull for:
- courses
- sequestering
