  1. Hi LisaI'm not in the FastAdd group, but it's interesting to see these use cases. One thing I wanted to mention about the NERL affiliate fee. In FOLIO, it will be possible to have an order (and the order details), but not have anything in Inventory. So for the NERL affiliate fee, you could opt to have nothing show in Inventory, and only have it searchable in the Orders app. If non-acq people are not likely to be looking for the NERL affiliate fee, there may not be a reason to have an Instance at all. 

    On the other hand, I could see potentially wanting a record in Inventory for Multilingual matters, since other staff might be looking for it. Seeing a brief record, maybe with a note that the individual volumes are cataloged separately, would be helpful. (And maybe having that record be a Container record instead of an Instance record in the future would be even more helpful!)

  2. Thanks Ann-Marie Breaux. We were just talking about that possibility (of not using Inventory for every item purchased) but I don't think we've decided yet if we're going to do it that way. I'm so glad you gave that container record example! Now that speaks to me. That would be great really.
