Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts. Please include updates on specific JIRA issues for prototype or query development workflow. Do we need to create any additional JIRA tickets?

  • Community & Coordination:
    • Reporting FOLIO Forum in June highlighting query development; will look for queries to show
    • Angela shared CARLI website, which shares Access queries using a model that is similar to what we are doing with clusters and reports
  • Development:
    • Troubleshooting MS Access connection issues
    • Update to LDP configuration files
    • GDPR compliance topic coming up again; user must agree to allow library to store data in the LDP, which makes functional reqs more complicated
    • Table naming for SRS MARC in progress
    • LDP 0.6.2 is released:
      • PostgreSQL-based LDP instances as of this release are now believed to be compatible with Microsoft Access 2019.
      • The table testing_source_records has been renamed to srs_source_records.
      • A new attribute row_id, intended primarily for internal use, has been added to all tables.

RA/UM Working Group:

Added three new clusters, Patron Dues (UXPROD-2399), Patron Lists (UXPROD-2400), and Staff Overrides (UXPROD-2401). These need to be ranked.

What does ILL mean to your institution? Responses to Elena's questions compiled and attached to all ILL and BD reports and clusters

Ongoing work on query (Clint) and prototype (Natalya)

MM Working Group:

work on prototypes continues, questions about prototypes that need MARC fields

group meeting twice a week to work on MARC-related prototypes

MM prototype builders interested in help from report writers; contact Kevin Walker if interested

RM Working Group:
